Discover Scuba

TRRR and Water Sports dive shop are teaming up again to host a Discover SCUBA event in a relaxed and gay friendly atmosphere. If you ever wanted to try SCUBA diving this is an opportunity to try it without investing a lot of time or money. Just bring your bathing suit and we'll bring the rest. Please note that you must be comfortable swimming to participate! All equipment is provided along with gay friendly instructors. A number of experienced divers from TRRR will also be there to help out. As this is an "instructional" course, it is being championed by Paul Pelletier at Water Sports dive shop. To complete your registration for this event you need to: 1. Call in your registration at 416-488-1000 (do not leave credit card info on the answering machine!). If there's no answer, leave contact info so you can be reached to complete the Registration. You can also register at the Water Sports store at 2082 Yonge Street. 2.Complete the Discover Scuba Medical Statement and Release. Bring it completed to the event. 3.On the Medical Statement ONLY those with all NO responses will be able to participate. If an individual would like to get permission from their Doctor then the Doctor is required to complete their portion of the Medical Statement, see attached. Again this only needs to be completed if a medical question was answered YES. 4. Provide the following information to Water Sports. Name Phone Number Email Address Height, Shoe Size Visa or MasterCard Number and Expiry (to secure spot) 5.Credit Card Number is required to ensure attendance; if participant does not attend a $35 charge will be applied to the card. We ask that participants bring $35 cash to most benefit the charity. The $35.00 fee for the event will be donated to Toronto People with AIDS Foundation. 6.We will provide Mask, Fins, Snorkel, BCD, Regulator and mouthpieces.
