We can help you make your wildest dreams come true. Each year, the Out and Out Club of Toronto rents a waterfront children’s summer camp 3 hours north of Toronto (yes, the kids are gone) and 225 LGBTQ adults, 19 and over, go to summer camp.
Situated in beautiful Haliburton, Ontario, with 5 tennis courts, swimming, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, kayaking, volleyball, basketball and ball hockey courts, the camp has great facilities. The accommodations however, are not high end. The shared, rustic cabins overlooking the lake sleep 10-12 adults. Each cabin has indoor cold water and toilets, but no heat or air-conditioning. There are separate central shower houses, one for men and one for women.
This non-profit, volunteer run event includes all meals and snacks, accommodation, and a full activity schedule, with sports, waterfront, arts and intellectual pursuits. Evening activities include: square dancing, talent show, dances, campfires, costume parties, games, movie nights or just sitting around playing cards. There are always LOTS of activities to choose from, so you could be busy from morning until late evening participating in various events – or, if some downtime is really what you’re looking for, you can spend the day relaxing by the lake or spending quiet time on the property.
